A Pop-ular story of art
The gallery AICA | Andrea Ingenito Contemporary Art will open in Naples on Friday June 7th at 7.00 pm “A Pop-ular story of art” collateral of the exhibition “Vetrine” by Andy Warhol displayed at the Pan (Palazzo delle Arti Napoli), which just after a month by the opening has been already described the exhibition-event of the year. The realization of the exhibition at the PAN was possible also thanks to the gallery with the coordination and finding of works from the Amelio Foundation and prominent collectors.
On display about thirty masterpieces of the most representative artists of Popular Art as the colorful Flowers, the enigmatic screen prints of Marilyn, and the pretty Golden shoes of Andy Warhol, the dancing men of Keith Haring, or even the comic interior of Roy Lichtenstein just to name a few; works that have become an integral part of our figurative baggage, true icons of our time.
