Angelo Brescianini was born in Palazzolo sull’Oglio in 1948 the youngest of four children. At the age of 12 years he participates with other artists, in his first group show. He attended schools for mechanical designer, where he graduated. In September 1966 he meets Olga, whom he married in 1973.
In the late Sixties he created his first bronze sculpture, currently on display at the Institute School “Enrico Fermi” in Palazzolo. In 1968 he did his military service and in his spare time he paints. Take part in the Biennale in Padua with a painting entitled “Waiting Dolorosa” (Dolorosa attesa) the title is perhaps referring to the waiting of the military leave) for which he received its first award. At the end of military service is hired as a clerk in an engineering company. It was assigned to the cast iron, bronze and aluminum. In 1978 he interrupted his cooperation with the foundry and he decides to open a laboratory for ebanist. His father is considered one of the best carpenters of the city and Angelo, since he was a child, he lived the charm to work fine woods. He began to design and produce objects of art with the lathe and other gear that since the end of the seventies, are his fellow workers by day and night. In this period he also participates in fairs and art show collective.
He meets the architect Luca Pastorio, son of the famous painter Ezio Pastorio, with whom later worked, also in the Spiral Art artistic staff in Milan.
He began to design and build wooden objects which are embedded in precious metal plates, reliefs, plaques of famous authors such as: Cassinari, River, Munari, and Bonalumi Kodra.
With the passage of time abandons the collaboration dedicating as to interior designer as a builder. Tables, chairs, desks, designed and devised by Brescianini, achieved success as hoped and are requested by collectors to furnish their homes. It also produces colored glass, which designs and blends in glassworks
The results are unique pieces for collectors. He collaborates with architects, publicizing its work on specialized magazines.
The meeting with the kinetic artist Horacio Garcia Rossi, with whom he became a friend and with whom he worked assiduously for years, It led him to devote himself almost exclusively to the development and realization of optical moving sculpture.
In 1999, the art gallery “L’Ariete” Bergamo, organizes his first dolo exhibition. This is the first time that his moving sculptures are exhibited in public.
With the same gallery he participate to the Expo Art Montichiari in 2000 and also he exhibits at the gallery “Lo Spazio” in Brescia.
He develops his optical research in moving sculptures now hanging on the wall.
In these there are complex gears and mechanisms moved by modern technology.
His visions become dynamic and bright polychrome and float through kinetic schemes that the artist conceives in a continuous change of plans and forms.
Since 2008 brescianini participates to specialized art fairs with the “Minotaur Fine Art Gallery”, Palazzolo sull’Oglio, that represents him exclusively.
In 2012 it is prepared, in the exhibition halls of the “Museo del Presente” of Rende (CS), one of his major retrospective curated by Antonio Falbo.
Angelo Brescianini’s works are today in prestigious private and public collections, in Italy and abroad.
