NAPLES 5th MAY 2022
After a few weeks from the great success obtained at PAN in Naples, with the first exhibition in a museum, Andrea Ingenito decides to dedicate to the artist Trallallà the first solo exhibition in his historical Neapolitan gallery.
“Save the mermaids” is the title of the exhibition that will be held from May 5th to June 18th, 2022 where will be exhibited unpublished fragments of boats and works of collage on wood and paper made for the occasion that will tell the famous Sirene Ciacione, which pass from the walls of the historic center of Naples to private collections and prestigious institutions.
A contamination between street art and traditional art.
The art of Trallallà is an art of sharing, always in relation with the territory and its people; it is simple and spontaneous, reflecting the naturalness of Naples daughter of the myth of Partenope that the artist resumes in the sensual figures of the Mermaids that are born with shapely bodies, ironic looks and rebellious to that “canon of common beauty”, becoming real seductive icons of contemporary Neapolitan street art.
The exhibition will be again a focus on street art, already a phenomenon of interest to the Gallery with the organization of exhibitions dedicated to Banksy and Keith Haring.
